Patrisha Robinson
Promontory's Children Coordinator & Admin Assistant
Patrisha Robinson is the Kid’s Ministry Co-ordinator at the Central Community Church Promontory campus. She just began her role in January 2022. Later that year, she also took on a role in the Production team creating and putting together the worship slides and sermon slides for Sunday mornings at all campuses.
Patrisha moved to Chilliwack at the end of August 2020 from Orillia, Ontario. In fact, she also just got married to her husband John Robinson in August 2020. She would love to tell you about this story if you ask! The Robinson’s moved to Chilliwack since John accepted a job at Unity Christian School and they discovered Central soon after moving.
Patrisha loves Chilliwack. She loves the beautiful mountains and surrounding landscape. However, she misses the snow in the winter and the clean, non-smoky air in the summer. Patrisha also loves her jobs at Central! She loves being able to work with kids! It’s really interesting, actually, how doing kid’s ministry was something that Patrisha always considered doing, but was not actually in her plans. She had been a volunteer in kid’s ministry at her previous churches and she had been involved in many camps, but it was not something she was pursuing for a job. Yet, Patrisha was praying for God’s leading in terms of a job since she did not have one upon moving and Central approached her and asked her if Promontory Kid’s Ministry Co-ordinator was something she was interested in. It’s incredible how God provides!
Patrisha also enjoys creating worship slides because she is able to be a part of worship ministry indirectly. Patrisha enjoys singing, especially in the shower! She also enjoys going for hikes, swimming, being outside, playing board games, and being cozied up in a warm blanket. She also loves animals! If she could, she would have as many pets as possible!
Favourite Bible Verse
28 Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
his understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the faint,
and to him who has no might he increases strength.
30 Even youths shall faint and be weary,
and young men shall fall exhausted;
31 but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:28-31
