Life Groups Banner

Community; Discipleship; and Mission.

Life Groups are at the heart of community life at Central. They are our way to ensure that as the church continues to grow, everyone still has the opportunity to know and be known, to love and be loved, and to experience community and spiritual growth.

Our desire for Central's Life Groups is that they would be a place where we can apply the truths of the Bible in our hearts, care deeply for one another by bringing support and accountability to each other's lives, and finally, where we can be sent on mission by God, into the community.

How do we do this?

  • We create a warm and welcoming environment to allow our people to enjoy interacting with one another. (Rom. 15:7)
  • We take time to pray to become more aware of the presence of God so that we can connect with one another in a vulnerable, but edifying way. (Phil. 4:6)
  • We spend time unpacking the Word of God to appreciate His goodness and glory, as well as to understand how we can practically live out our faith in any situation. (Eph. 4:12-13)
  • We serve one another in our times of need with visits, prayers, meals, childcare, etc. (Matt. 25:35)
  • We serve our community to show the eastern Fraser Valley that the church of Jesus Christ has a heart for the lost and broken. (Matt. 25:40)
  • We have fun through intentional fellowship in our homes, at the beach, over coffee, during a meal and enjoying one another's company to the glory of God. (1 Thes. 5:11)
