+ WHAT IS ALPHA?

Alpha is a chance to explore and question the meaning of life. Over a series of 8 sessions, you’ll find out about the basics of the Christian faith. Each session involves a main talk, and a time to say what you think. ALPHA courses happen all over the world, and over 27 million people have taken the course already, in over 112 languages. It’s fun, relaxed, and free, and you can ask anything you like. Best of all, it’s all done over a free meal. It is a great place to come if you are exploring faith for the first time, and it is also a great place to invite friends and family to do the same.

Alpha is absolutely free.

Connection
We meet in person and all sessions start with a time to connect, relax and build friendships.

Content
Each evening will feature a video exploring an aspect of the Christian faith followed by Alpha talks, designed to inspire conversation. They explore the big issues of life and faith, addressing questions like “Who is Jesus?”, “Why and how do I pray?” and “How does God guide us?"

Conversation
One of the most important parts of any Alpha: the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say (seriously). It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.

Our next Alpha course begins in January 2024 at our Chilliwack, Harrison, and Lake Errock campuses. If you are interested in exploring the bigger questions of life in a safe environment with really great people, join us! You can also share this with your friends, because all are welcome.
