Eldon Fehr

After entering full-time pastoral ministry in 1994 and serving three previous churches, Eldon joined Central’s pastoral team in November of 2013. On January 19, 2014, God’s call on his life to join His initiative through Central – to establish a campus in Agassiz – was realized. Since that time, it has been a joy for Eldon, together with his amazing wife, Marcy, to serve the community of Agassiz, where they live, and to provide care and oversight to our congregation there. Eldon & Marcy have two adult children (who each chose a great spouse!), and 4 fantastic grandchildren. All of them live in nearby Chilliwack and provide a lot of joy to their lives.

Two of Eldon’s greatest passions in ministry are preaching God’s Word and shepherding God’s flock under his care – particularly those who are broken & hurting. God’s call to do these things are the result of a personal journey of brokenness combined with God’s Word in Genesis 50:19-20 – “But Joseph said to them, ‘Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God? You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.’”

Two of Eldon’s other passions – motorcycling and eating! – also provide much joy, particularly when family and friends participate. These activities, even more so when combined with ministry, help him realize God’s greatest desire for every person on the planet, as declared by Jesus: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (Jesus, John 10:10)
