Christi was born in South Africa and immigrated to Canada when she was ten. She was raised in a Christian home but came to true saving faith when the Lord chose to reveal Himself as faithful and good in all He does. She is happy to learn more about who God is and what He calls His church to as she continues to get more involved in ministry and spends her free time turning over theological concepts to see if they’re biblical or not.

Christi loves reading and studying, wandering walks in sunshine and rain, listening to hours of music and podcasts, and to have long conversations where she gets to know people. She likes collecting things (like books, tattoos, and people). The oldest of five, she also enjoys spending time with children and has a heart for making God’s Word, and through it His character, known to them.

A few verses from one of her favourite Psalms:

1 O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. 2 So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory. 3 Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands.

Psalm 63
