'PRAYING TOGETHER'

Every Christian knows or should know the importance of prayer. We know that prayer is essential for a deep relationship with the Lord, that through prayer God grants some of our heart's desires, gives us peace with the things we cannot change, and that our faith increases. We need to unite our voice and cry out to the Lord just as St. Monica prayed unceasingly for the conversion of her libertine, selfish and capricious son who became one of the most devout fathers of the Church, Augustine of Hippo.

To be able to pray with a trusting heart in the sovereignty of the Lord like St. Teresa: “Let nothing disturb you. Let nothing frighten you. All things are passing away: God never changes. Patience obtains all things. Whoever has God lacks nothing; God alone suffices”. So, I want to invite all of you to join us to raise our prayers to the Lord; intercede for our Church and its leaders, for our families starting with our husband and children, for our government and society. We need to stand together.
