This is not your average nativity story. There is no mention of shepherds or wise men, no manger or little town of Bethlehem. There is, however, a woman giving birth but she’s surrounded by stars and a heavenly war, angels and a dragon. This is Christmas according to the Book of Revelation.
Revelation 12 tells us the Christmas Story in a way that you may have never heard before. But it is one of the ways the Bible tells the story of the incarnation of Jesus nonetheless. The Apostle John gives us a glimpse into what transpired in the heavenly realm when Jesus was born.
This is Cosmic Christmas
We have created the Advent Guide as an easy to use resource to help you anticipate the coming of Christ this Christmas.
The guide consists of a weekly study guide and space for sermon notes along with a companion weekly family devotional.
Pick up your copy from your campus - available from Sunday, November 26.
SONGS FOR THE SEASON
Advent has begun and to help you make room in your hearts for the arrival of Jesus we’ve created a Spotify Advent playlist. In it you’ll find centuries-old classics and recent originals.
These 60-minute services will be filled with carols, candlelight, children's performances, and a brief Christmas message. Statistically, most people get involved in church because of being invited by a friend and people are more open than ever at Christmas. So invite people in your life and come celebrate the meaning of Christmas with us at one of our services.
