Remembering God | Family Equipping Class
Details
REDISCOVER GOD'S CALL TO REMEMBER.
Throughout Scripture, God calls His people to remember—to tell the next generation of His mighty works, His love, and His Word. Yet we often see how quickly a generation can forget. In Joshua 4, the Israelites set up twelve stones as a memorial of God’s deliverance—so their children would ask, “What do these stones mean?” But by Judges 2, we read that “another generation grew up who neither knew the Lord nor what He had done.”
This class is designed to help parents rediscover God’s call to remember—and to intentionally teach their children to know and follow Him. Join Pastor Crystal and three of Central’s Elders, DJ Hiebert, Leneord Feldes, and Walter Schroeder, as they explore key biblical foundations from Joshua 4, Deuteronomy 6, and Psalm 78, and then dive into practical ways to live out this calling in everyday family life.
Whether your kids are toddlers or teens, this class will encourage and equip you to build rhythms, conversations, and moments that point your family toward Jesus and keep the story of God alive in your home.
