On this retreat, we’ll explore how your marriage was made to reflect the beauty of creation, the nature of salvation, and the eternal love of God. We’ll offer practical wisdom for cultivating a healthy relationship with your spouse, overcoming hurt or baggage from the past, and approaching your marriage as spiritual formation that shapes you in the image of Christ. It will be an inspiring and life-giving weekend filled with biblical insight, practical wisdom, and refreshing time with your spouse.
Your marriage will be iconic when others can look through it and see Jesus.

WHAT TO EXPECT
The Iconic Marriage Retreat will take place in Harrison Hot Springs on January 26-27, 2024. The retreat includes three sessions (Friday night, Saturday morning, and Saturday afternoon), two meals (breakfast and lunch), and accommodations at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort. All sessions and included meals will be at Central Community Church - Harrison Campus.

When registering you have you now have the option of selecting the Friday Session (No meals included), Saturday Sessions (+ Breakfast & Lunch), or Both by selecting the number of couples attending for each.
Registration is non-refundable.

Lots of couples want to invest in their marriages but finances can be a barrier. If you would like to help couples to attend The Iconic Marriage Retreat who otherwise would not be able to for financial reasons you can do so below or in-person.

ACCOMMODATION
The Iconic Marriage Retreat includes all accommodation and parking fees for the Harrison Hot Springs Resort including access to the hot springs pools and fitness centre. There are two price options available - the East Tower which is the most updated and the West Tower. All rooms come with wifi, beverage fridge, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, keurig machine, and TV.

Guest rooms are available for check-in after 4.00pm. Arriving early? Hot spring pools are available for guest access after 1.00pm. Check out time is prior to 11.00am.

MEALS
Breakfast and lunch are included in the price of marriage retreat and will be available at the Harrison Campus. For Friday night dinner there is a variety of restaurants to choose from within walking distance of the resort. Each of the resort rooms are equipped with a mini-fridge, so you can bring your own food, or pick something up at the grocery store nearby.

PARKING & DIRECTIONS
Resort Parking is available and included as part of your registration fee. Please register your vehicle license plate at the Front Desk upon check-in. Upon check-out you will have to move your vehicle from the Harrison Hot Springs Resort parking.
Parking for Retreat Sessions & Meals is available for free in the Harrison Campus parking lot, along Lillooet Avenue, and most joining streets.

Josh & HOLLY BUTLER
Joshua Ryan Butler will be speaking in all of our sessions and will be joined by his wife Holly as they take your questions in Q&As. Whether in sermons, books, or speaking, Josh have a reputation for “paradigm shifts,” that help people who struggle with the toughest topics of the Christian faith to fall deeper in love with Jesus, gain fresh confidence in the authority of the Bible, and grow in trusting the goodness of God.
Josh and Holly, together with their daughter Aiden, and sons James and Jacob, enjoy spending time with good friends over great meals, and exploring the scenic beauty of the Southwest. Josh is the author of several books including Beautiful Union; a book that garnered controversy online for exploring the Bible’s analogy for sex to describe Christ and the Church, much the way many had done before him throughout church history. While we may use different language or draw some different conclusions than Josh does in his book, we agree that sex is not disembodied from the Christian faith but informed by it.
This retreat will be an inspiring and life-giving weekend filled with biblical insight, practical wisdom, and refreshing time with your spouse.
